| The advent of 5G technology is transforming IT infrastructure and application development by offering unprecedented speed, low latency, and enhanced connectivity. This paper explores the impact of 5G on IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud computing, edge computing, and network architecture. It also examines how 5G is reshaping application development, particularly in areas such as IoT, AI-driven applications, and mobile app performance. The paper highlights how 5G enables real-time data processing, fosters seamless integration of smart devices, and supports the proliferation of high-bandwidth applications. Moreover, the study discusses the challenges associated with 5G adoption, including security concerns, network deployment costs, and compatibility issues with existing IT frameworks. By analyzing current trends and case studies, this research provides insights into how businesses and developers can optimize their IT strategies to leverage 5G’s capabilities.
